Were still alive
Yea I know DKS has been on a hiatus for quite some time now but we back and better then ever. In the mean time, rival schools Clark ATL and Morehouse college played in epic overtime thriller. Even though the underdog, Tigers, came out with a MUCH needed victory mt panthers still remain supreme. It was a well fought battle. REMATCH coming Feb.15th.. dont miss out.
I apologize in advance for the quality of the video.Enjoy
HU RHO 93
As many of you well know I am a freshman at Morehouse College and I stay in Hubert Hall. I found this video during the summer and I was just amazed with all the school/dorm spirt that they had. The people in this video went to school when HBCU enrollment was at a high and during the AUC still had Morris Brown. After watching this I am proud to say that I stay in Hubert Hall and not just the 5th floor. This is the kind of pride DKS, Rare Impressions, Extravagant Minds and the 5th floor is trying to create not just for our Residence hall, Morhouse/Spelman but all HBCUs.
Throwback Thursday
This throwback thursday is dedicated to Mr. Cheeks of the Lost Boys song Renee. When people think of Mr. Cheeks all that they really think of is “Lights, Camera, Action”. But this song really shows his lyrical skills and his gift for storytelling. He is truly one of the most underrated MCs of all-time.

New Impressionz x LeToya Luckett
One of my favorite Go-Go bands, New Impressionz recently recorded a live cd with LeToya Luckett at GreenBelt Marriot in PG County, Maryland. The cd hits but she got into her perfomance a lil too much lol, the crowd was feelin it tho. LeToya Luckett isnt on every track, there’s 29 on this cd. I will probably go up to DC this Friday to see New Impressionz play at Club LePearl. Make sure you check the video, and I have a link for the entire cd under it.

Where Steff Been? – Chicago, Illinois
For about the last two weeks I been in Chicago (And Im still here), chillin wit one of my friends from HU. Alot has happened but I decided to snap a few pics just to show a lil of Chicago and what I been doin out here. The city is full of culture and I got to witness it all first hand from the slang, Juke Music, Footworkin, to Deep Dish Pizza. We were scheduled to see a Bulls game, but we were invited to one of our friends parties from HU out here in the Chi, and decided to save our money. I had fun, so we made it official for me to come back in the Summer for “The Taste of Chicago” in June right before I head out to London. Here’s some of the photos I snapped, you can tell the Digital Camera shots from the BlackBerry shots.
This one looks professional, It was like 5 degrees Downtown when I took this.

The Michigan Ave/Magnificent Mile strip is lined up wit heavy shopping. Sorta like SoHo Manhattan and Georgetown DC.

We partied in the New Years at Club Secrets, “live” aint even the word. The V.I.P. alone was hyper than most parties!

NikeTown on “The Magnificent Mile”, five floors of Nike’s & Jordans.

At New Brunswick Bowlin Alley, I never seen a bowlin alley wit so much liquor. And it was jumpin like a club! Love this pic.

We spent alot of time in the hood(Westside). But only one pic to show, You cant be snappin pics in the hood lookin like a fed n shyt lol

My favorite part of Chicago, The Southside. I would definitely live here.

Me cold Downtown. No flash so it came out dark idk.

Ralph Lauren on The Magnificent Mile. They had the new NEW shyt in here.

Cowboys vs Eagles
I’ve been in Texas for the last week and the highlight of my time here has to be the Cowboys vs Eagles game. This was only my 2nd ever NFL game and my first since the 1999 preseason Redskins vs. Bills game ha. I have to give probs to the architects of the stadium cause it is quite a sight to see. I was hoping for a good game but the Eagles obviously didn’t care. Here are a few highlights of the game..
